Entry Requirements:

  • Typical A-level offer: ABB including one or both of the languages to be studied.
  • You will be placed in the Advanced stream for your post A Level language (minimum requirement of grade B or above) and the beginners stream if you have not studied the language at A Level. Only one language can be studied from beginners level.
  • Typical contextual A-level offer: BBC including one or both of the languages to be studied.
  • You will be placed in the Advanced stream for your post A Level language (minimum requirement of grade B or above) and the beginners stream if you have not studied the language at A Level. Only one language can be studied from beginners level.
  • Refugee/care-experienced offer: Applicants who have been in local authority care for more than three months or have refugee status may be eligible for an offer two grades below the standard requirements.
  • Typical International Baccalaureate offer: 34 points overall.
  • 6,5,5 in Higher Level subjects (Latin or Italian).
