The Master of Public Health (on campus) at the University of Manchester is a one-year full-time program that equips students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in public health principles, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The MPH Master of Public Health (on campus) is a one-year full-time program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand public health in the context of globalization. The program aims to:
- Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of public health principles and practices.
- Develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare students for careers in public health research, policy, and practice.
- Allow students to specialize in a highly topical subject area with consequences of relevance to all aspects of public health.
- Open up a career in health science research if students undertake a PhD after completing the course.
- Offer some units that can be taken as credited CPD through the Public Health Professional Development program.

The MPH program prepares students for a variety of careers in public health, including:
- Public health researcher
- Public health policy analyst

- The program is taught on campus.
- The program is open to intercalating medical students from The University of Manchester and other UK universities.
- The program is available to BSc Public Health students who have achieved an Upper Second classification or equivalent experience.
- The program includes an optional Geneva Winter School.
- UK students (per annum): £12,000
- International, including EU, students (per annum): £26,000
- The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition and administration costs during your studies.
- All fees for entry may be subject to a yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year.
- You may be eligible for a postgraduate loan if you choose the one-year full-time or two-year part-time course.
- The course fees include all the tuition, technical support and assessments required for the course.
- Costs may be incurred for travel, subsistence and accommodation charges during the optional Geneva Winter School.
