Principles of Critical Care (Level 7)

Program Overview

This program, "Principles of Critical Care," is designed for nurses working within the specialty of critical care. The program aims to build upon prior knowledge and skills to enhance the theoretical underpinning of Critical Care nursing. The program covers topics such as evaluating and reviewing national and local health care policies and initiatives aimed at improving critically ill patients' outcomes, appraising the role of the critical care nurse in the delivery of care, and demonstrating competence in evaluating, reviewing, and shaping the assessment, monitoring, medication, and the promotion of patient safety.
