- Teachers of Mathematics Scholarship: This scholarship is available to high school mathematics teachers pursuing a graduate degree in mathematics (MS, MA, or MAT) at UNO to become eligible to teach UNO calculus dual enrollment courses. Students pursuing this certificate can qualify for the scholarship if they plan to pursue an MS, MA, or MAT in mathematics in conjunction with the certificate. The scholarship covers resident tuition for up to six graduate credit hours per semester for one year.

- English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in oral and written English. Those without a baccalaureate or advanced degree from the United States or a predetermined country on the waiver list must meet the minimum language proficiency score requirement:

- Applicants must have obtained at least a "B" (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) average in previous mathematics courses, including two courses beyond elementary calculus.
