Program Overview


The workshop incorporates an interactive task to demonstrate the value of creativity in exploring and understanding concepts of home and family. Upon completion, participants gain a deeper understanding of the value of creativity and the confidence to incorporate it into their work with clients.

Program Outline

This course is ideal for professionals working within organisations that are likely to encounter victims of domestic violence and abuse, such as:

  • health visitors
  • nurses
  • community artists and arts in health workers
  • occupational therapists
  • counsellors and psychotherapists
  • community safety officers
  • On completion of this short course you will have a better appreciation of the value of adopting a future-focused approach to working with those recovering from domestic violence and abuse, and the confidence to introduce basic creative techniques in your work with clients. Please note that this course is subject to minimum numbers in order to run.
