Program Overview
This short online course challenges management thinking and teaches a "Systems Thinking" approach for improving business operations. By focusing on customer-centric measurement and organizational interconnectedness, delegates gain skills to measure performance, make operational changes, and enhance service, reduce costs, and improve workplace morale. The self-paced learning includes guided online sessions with academic literature, and certificate upon completion.
Program Outline
Delegates will be introduced to the concepts of a ‘Systems Thinking’ based approach for improving performance which is distinctive in two ways:
- A customer-centric approach to performance measurement
- Understanding the connectivity of the wider organization The course will challenge traditional management thinking and help delegates to develop a more holistic approach to measuring and improving business operations.

- Session 2 – Measuring true process performance
- Session 3 – Making and sustaining operational changes

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded for completing the course.

- Session 1 – Develop a wider understanding of Systems Thinking, and a holistic approach towards business improvement through analysis of the workplace
- Session 2 – Application of concepts within the workplace to understand true performance of operational processes and identification of improvement opportunities
- Session 3 – Reading and analysis of academic literature to enhance knowledge of operational change concepts when making an improvement intervention
- Support: All the sessions will be supported with Level 7 materials and additional activities to be undertaken between each delivered session.
