The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) at the University of Western Australia (UWA) is a postgraduate program designed to equip graduates with the technical skills and knowledge required for a successful career in accounting. The program aims to:

- Conversion: Students who have not completed a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent must complete relevant conversion units up to the value of 24 points. These units include:

Entry Requirements:
(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification , as recognised by UWA; and either:(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent; or(c) at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or(2) completed a Graduate Certificate in Commerce at UWA.
- Applicants who have a Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, or an equivalent qualification, are not eligible for admission.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.
