This micro-credential is designed for professionals working in the field of tailings management, particularly practicing engineers, geoscientists, or individuals responsible for managing or operating tailings storage facilities. It focuses on ensuring adequate tailings storage capacity throughout the life of an operation. This micro-credential is the third in a series of three micro-credentials on Tailings Governance.

- Required inputs and outputs for tailings management plans
- The importance of accounting for variability when developing conceptual and detailed tailings management plans
- Maximizing storage capacity economically while ensuring safe operational procedures
