The College of Education offers two master's programs in secondary education for both certified and non-certified individuals. The programs emphasize technology-enhanced teaching strategies and professional development, preparing candidates for careers as secondary educators. Scholarships are available through the College of Education Incentive Program.

The College of Education offers two master’s degree programs in each of seven secondary education fields listed below. The Traditional Master’s in Secondary Education is for those who already hold a valid Class B Professional Educator Certificate. The Alternative Master’s in Secondary Education is available for those who have not earned an undergraduate education degree or teacher certification. Scholarships are also available for these programs through the College of Education Incentive Program. Courses are enhanced with a technology focus on the latest evidence-based teaching and learning strategies as well as a focus on assisting the candidate in developing his/her professional identity and professional practice as an educator.
