The Master of Science in Computer Science & Information Technology (MSCSIT) program at Sacred Heart University is designed to provide students with the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the rapidly growing field of computer science and information technology. The program offers three concentrations: computer science, information technology, and data science. Students in the computer science concentration will learn the fundamentals of computation and how to build the secure databases and systems that help the virtual world flourish. Students in the information technology concentration will learn how to utilize and manage the latest technological advances and methods of modern business and industry. Students in the data science concentration will learn how to apply advanced analytics and machine learning to help users predict and optimize business outcomes. The program is offered on a part-time or full-time basis, and students can earn their degree in as little as 15 months.
