Bachelor’s-Master of Public Administration (MPA) 4+1 Dual Degree Program
Program Overview
The MPA Dual Degree Program allows students to earn a Bachelor's and Master of Public Administration in five years. Students complete the Bachelor's degree in four years and one year of graduate study, saving on graduate tuition costs. The program is open to students in Criminal Justice, Global Affairs, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, and Strategic Communication, Public Relations & Advertising. Students may complete up to six graduate credits during their undergraduate studies.

Students in the MPA Dual Degree Program earn a Bachelor’s and a Master of Public Administration in five years. Students complete the bachelor’s degree in the traditional four-year time frame and complete one year of graduate study in the MPA program, earning both the bachelor’s degree and the master’s degree within five years. This option is open to students in the following undergraduate majors: Criminal Justice Global Affairs Political Science Social Work Sociology Strategic Communication, Public Relations & Advertising Dual degree students pursuing the MPA degree may complete up to six credits toward their graduate degree during their undergraduate studies. These credits count toward both the undergraduate and the graduate degrees. Students, therefore, save on the cost of graduate tuition as these credits are included in the cost of the full-time undergraduate tuition.
