Bachelor’s-Master of Arts in Sports Communication & Media 4+1 Dual Degree Program
Program Overview
The SCM Dual Degree Program allows students to earn a Bachelor's and Master of Arts in Sports Communication & Media in five years. Students complete the bachelor's degree in four years and one year of graduate study, saving on graduate tuition costs. The program is open to students in any undergraduate major except nursing and interdisciplinary studies. Students may complete up to six graduate credits during their undergraduate studies, which count towards both degrees.

Students in the SCM Dual Degree Program earn a Bachelor’s and a Master of Arts in Sports Communication & Media in five years. Students complete the bachelor’s degree in the traditional four-year time frame and complete one year of graduate study in the SCM program, earning both the bachelor’s degree and the master’s degree within five years. This option is open to students in any undergraduate major with the exception of nursing and interdisciplinary studies. Dual degree students pursuing the SCM graduate degree may complete up to six credits toward their graduate degree during their undergraduate studies. These credits count toward both the undergraduate and the graduate degrees. Students, therefore, save on the cost of graduate tuition as these credits are included in the cost of the full-time undergraduate tuition.
