Program Overview


This online Master of Laws (LLM) in Public International Law, offered by The University of Law, is a postgraduate degree designed for law and non-law graduates to enhance their academic legal knowledge. This course will introduce you to the nature, structure, legal sources and concepts of contemporary international law in addition to a number of key rules and principles. You will examine sources and hierarchy of international law and rules; international legal personality; the relationship between international and domestic law; issues relating to jurisdiction; the Law of Treaties; state responsibility; the peaceful settlement of international disputes and use of force. You will also consider issues of substantive public international law such as international humanitarian law and forced migration.

Degree Overview:

This program is designed for individuals working in manufacturing who have recently been promoted to the role of supervisor or for those who would like to assume the role in the future. The program is also a very useful vehicle for refreshing and/or upgrading the skills of experienced supervisors.


Objectives:

  • Gain the skills needed to be a successful supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
  • Develop practical skills and performance results.
  • Receive relevant training from instructors with direct industry experience.
  • Gain confidence in the ability to effectively manage challenges and change.

  • Introductory supervisor in manufacturing or other sectors.

  • Program was designed by manufacturers, for manufacturers, in collaboration with the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) and your community colleges – Niagara, Mohawk and Conestoga.
  • This program is no longer accepting new applicants.
  • Courses are delivered online, unless otherwise indicated in the class registration listing.
  • Students do not apply to part-time programs.
  • Instead, part-time programs are self-guided. Enrol in and successfully complete each course listed on the Courses tab – on your own time and schedule. Fees are paid on a per-course basis.
  • Once you have successfully completed all of the required courses you may apply for your Statement of Completion.
  • Recipients of Statements of Completion do not participate in Convocation ceremonies.
