Honors Program: Transfer Pathway

Program Overview

The Transfer Pathway at SMSU is designed for transfer students with a significant number of credits. It includes required Honors courses, a Honors Core with courses in ethics, gender and identity, global consciousness, and human diversity, and completion of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. The program provides a well-rounded education and prepares students for success in their chosen field.

• HONR 140 Introduction to Honors (3 credits)
• HONR 487 Honors Seminar (3 credits)
• Honors Core:
• Students take one course from each of the four categories below.
Courses must be chosen from more than one discipline for 12 credits.
