This six-month Vocal Musicianship program prepares singers for professional performances. Degree Overview:

This is a six-month Vocal Musicianship Award program designed to teach aspiring singers how to perform professionally. The program is structured around two college-level courses: Vocal Musicianship - Levels 1 and 2. It aims to equip graduates with the skills to deliver high-quality vocal performances on stage or in the studio. Students benefit from small group learning (10 students or less), focusing on vocal musicianship, ear training, sight-reading, music theory, and more.

Term 1:

• Pitch & Rhythm Transcription: Develop techniques for transcribing pitches and rhythms.
• Keyboard Skills: Develop essential keyboard skills for musical understanding.
• Musical Analysis: Gain proficiency in analyzing musical structures.
• Aural Recognition: Improve your ability to recognize musical elements by ear.
• Vocal Tone Production: Develop techniques for vocal tone production, ensuring accurate intonation and phrasing.
• Intonation: Master the art of accurate vocal intonation.
• Standard Repertoire Development: Study and perform a standard repertoire of vocal pieces.
