Minor in Asian American Studies
Program Overview
The Asian American Studies Minor requires 24 units, including 18 upper-division AA S courses. Students must complete courses in Introduction to Asian American Studies, Ethnic Courses, and Panethnic Courses. Additionally, they must take a course in Asian American of Mixed Heritages and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. The minor explores the history, culture, and experiences of Asian American communities in the United States.

Degree Overview:
A total of 24 units are required for the Asian American Studies Minor, 18 of which must be upper-division AA S courses. A minimum of 6 upper-division units are required to complete the minor. All coursework used to satisfy the requirements of the minor must be completed with a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
