Program Outline

Degree Overview:

Trent’s Cultural Studies program is the only one of its kind in Canada. By specializing in Literature and Narrative, you will study culture by reading, talking, and doing – asking (and seeking to answer) how culture shapes our lives, and vice versa.

Outline:

This narrative-focused specialization explores the stories told in comparative and world literature, as well as theatre, television, and film. Students participate in small, interactive class discussions about experimental, historical, or science fiction, while they workshop skills in literary analysis, creative writing, and theatrical production.
