Program Overview
The Health & Well-being Specialization within the Psychology program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of motivational, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral foundations of health and well-being. Through coursework in abnormal psychology, learning, motivation, and health psychology, students gain the tools for careers in healthcare, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, behavioral medicine, and clinical psychology. Experiential learning, research projects, and personalized mentoring facilitate skill development and preparation for future success in the field.

Degree Overview:
Gain essential tools to comprehend health foundations for impactful careers in healthcare, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, behavioral medicine, and clinical psychology while aiding in mental and physical well-being. Pursue a career helping others with their mental and physical well-being. This specialization gives you the tools needed to understand the motivational, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural foundations of health and well-being, priming you for work in healthcare, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, behavioural medicine, and clinical psychology.
Outline:
Students who have fulfilled the requirements for an Honours degree in Psychology may graduate with a Specialization in Health & Well-being if they have successfully completed 4.5 credits in the specialization category. The same course may not simultaneously count towards two or more specializations.
