The Health & Well-being Specialization within the Psychology program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of motivational, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral foundations of health and well-being. Through coursework in abnormal psychology, learning, motivation, and health psychology, students gain the tools for careers in healthcare, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, behavioral medicine, and clinical psychology. Degree Overview:

Gain essential tools to comprehend health foundations for impactful careers in healthcare, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, behavioral medicine, and clinical psychology while aiding in mental and physical well-being. Pursue a career helping others with their mental and physical well-being. This specialization gives you the tools needed to understand the motivational, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural foundations of health and well-being, priming you for work in healthcare, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, behavioural medicine, and clinical psychology.


Outline:

Students who have fulfilled the requirements for an Honours degree in Psychology may graduate with a Specialization in Health & Well-being if they have successfully completed 4.5 credits in the specialization category. The same course may not simultaneously count towards two or more specializations.
