Program Overview
Trent University's Health & Behaviour (B.Sc.) program provides an interdisciplinary approach to health and well-being through courses in psychology, biology, kinesiology, sociology, and nursing. Students develop critical thinking skills and a research-based understanding of health issues. The program includes practical experience through a hands-on placement, prepares students for a variety of health-related careers, and offers opportunities for honours research in health.

Degree Overview:
The Health & Behaviour (B.Sc.) Students gain a multidisciplinary understanding of health, wellness, and the prevention and treatment of illness through courses across Psychology, Biology, Kinesiology, Sociology, and the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing. The program emphasizes research, community-based learning, and practical application. Students develop a solid foundation for interpreting data and applying it to challenging health issues, as well as critical and analytical thinking skills needed to become health and wellness leaders.

- Students can participate in a 12-week hands-on placement to gain practical experience.
- The program includes a unique third-year Health Communications course.

Entry Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- A minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites
- Program Requirements:
- Minimum 75% admission average, including SBI4U and either MCV4U or MHF4U
- ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%
