The Specialization in Ethics & Sustainability equips B.B.A. students with a deep understanding of business ethics and the principles of sustainability. By completing 4.0 credits from a core set of courses, students gain the tools to guide moral decision-making, address complex ethical challenges in the corporate world, and promote positive change in their organizations and society.

Degree Overview:
Gain a deep understanding of business organizations and corporations' pivotal responsibilities to consumers, employees, the economy, and the environment. The Specialization in Ethics & Sustainability prepares B.B.A. students to make transformational change in the corporate world by providing them with a foundational knowledge of business ethics and the tools to guide moral decision-making. This program addresses the growing need for business experts who can navigate the complex ethical and environmental challenges facing businesses today.

Course Requirements:
Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor of Business Administration or a joint-major Honours degree in Business Administration may graduate with a Specialization in Ethics & Sustainability if they have successfully completed the following 4.0 credits with a minimum grade of 65% in each:

- Prepare for your CPA designation or springboard into an M.B.A. benefiting from the knowledge and expertise of Trent’s community of business leaders and mentors
- Complete 100-hours of hands-on professional experience with a local business through the fourth year placement course or consider the fourth year internship course, a 6, 8 or 12 month paid work opportunity with companies or organizations in Ontario (a break in your studies between your second last and last term) and students must return to Trent after the internship for their final term.
- Leave your mark at Trent through a fourth-year legacy project or undertake a community-based research project with local businesses
