Program Overview
This unique undergraduate specialization in Environmental Archaeology focuses on reconstructing the relationship between past humans and their environments. Students gain expertise in applying scientific concepts to archaeological field studies and lab projects, developing skills in disciplines such as geology, biology, and physics. Upon graduation, graduates can pursue careers as geoarchaeologists, archaeobotanists, environmental impact assessors, and more.

Discover how ancient humans interacted with past environments in the only undergraduate specialization of its kind in Canada. This specialization develops expertise in reconstructing the relationship between past humans and their environment. You'll gain valuable skills and hands-on experience applying geological, biological, and physical sciences concepts to advanced lab projects and archaeological field studies.
