The chemistry major at Towson University offers three degree options:

- Chemistry Major Professional Track: Offers a more in-depth program with the opportunity to obtain American Chemical Society (ACS) certification. This track is recommended for graduate studies, basic or applied research, or industry employment.
- Chemistry Major with Secondary Education Concentration: Prepares students to teach chemistry in grades 7-12 through the Towson UTeach program. This program allows students to complete both a bachelor's degree and teacher certification in Maryland within four years.
