This 9-week life drawing course provides foundational principles and techniques for capturing the human form. Students explore various media and techniques, developing critical analysis skills and producing a final piece accompanied by an oral assessment. The course emphasizes practical exercises and discussions, introducing new technical principles and fine art theories each week.

- Course Content: This course takes life drawing back to its fundamental theories focusing on how the body is constructed both in its individual parts and as a whole. Students will develop the ability to capture the human form in a variety of media, learning to manipulate the medium appropriate to the subject matter as well as studying the theories of image making.
- Course Structure:
- Duration: 9 weeks

- Module 1: Introduction to life drawing principles and technical elements.
- Module 2: Exploring different media and techniques for capturing the human form.
- Module 3: Developing critical analysis skills to inform practice.
Assessment:
