It covers channel propagation characteristics, modulation and coding techniques, wireless system characteristics and performance limits, analysis and design methods, and real-world wireless systems like WLAN, WMAN, WPAN, GPRS/UMTS/3G/4G, and beyond networks. Advanced technologies like ultra-wideband communications and cognitive radio are also discussed. This module encourages students to develop their research skills, critical analysis, problem-solving abilities, and professional communication skills.
