This MSc in Mindfulness Based Wellbeing trains students to teach mindfulness in schools, the workplace and in everyday life, to develop greater resilience, stress reduction and self-regulation while at the same time developing greater self-awareness and better engagement with people, teams, challenges and opportunities.

Degree Overview:
The Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (Pre-Registration) is a two-year, full-time program designed to train students to become Registered Mental Health Nurses. It is a blended learning program, combining immersive, interactive learning sessions on campus with virtual online learning with tutors. Students attend campus 1-2 days a week during academic blocks, with guided and independent online study supplementing their learning. The program is accredited against the Nursing & Midwifery Council’s (NMC) 2018 standards, making graduates eligible for admission to Part 1 (Adult) of the NMC register upon successful completion. The course is designed to develop students into resilient, focused, and compassionate professionals ready to work in the dynamic healthcare sector.

- The program guarantees employment within UHSussex as a Registered Adult Nurse for students who successfully complete the degree and gain professional registration.
Assessment:

- Traditional assessment methods are used for academic learning.
Teaching:
- The teaching approach is based on a collaborative learning philosophy, encouraging students to learn with and from each other.

- The program emphasizes the development of digital competencies through the use of various technologies, such as clinicalskills.net, Electronic Practice Assessment Documents, and anatomical software with Hololens technology.
- Students will also be exposed to virtual learning environments that recreate clinical scenarios.
