  • LOGI5202 Legislative and procedures within the supply chain (15 credits): This course explores health and safety legislative requirements, codes of compliance, best practice guidelines, and INCO terms within a supply chain context.
  • Students learn to:
  • Explain health and safety legislative requirements and apply them to employer and employee responsibilities in a supply chain environment.
  • Identify and work within codes of compliance and best practice guidelines related to dangerous goods in a supply chain context.
  • Recognize and consistently use INCO terms in supply chain situations.
  • LOGI5203 Generic supply chain methodologies (15 credits): This course reviews and applies generic supply chain methodologies such as risk and constraint management methods, basic data and financial tools, and continuous improvement approaches.
  • Students learn to:
  • Outline risk and constraint management methods in a supply chain context.
  • Identify and use basic data and financial tools to analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions about supply chain management.
  • Investigate continuous improvement approaches/models applicable to supply chain situations.
  • LOGI5204 Technical supply chain methodologies (15 credits): This course reflects on and applies technical supply chain methodologies such as demand management, procurement practices, manufacturing planning and control, inventory management, and distribution and optimization processes.
  • Students learn to:
  • Explain and apply demand management concepts and their influence on procurement practices in a supply chain process.
  • Identify and review the effectiveness of manufacturing planning and control and inventory management tools within a supply chain.
