Program Overview
The Master of Science in Engineering Computer Science (M.S.E. CS) is a residential program offered by the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. The program requires eight graduate-level courses and one of the following options: two additional graduate-level courses, a research project, or an original master's thesis. Students must complete at least one course from four of the five sub-areas of computer science: Applications, Reasoning, Software, Systems, and Theory.
