AUC's Interactive Media Design minor complements primary areas of study by equipping students with skills in digital image making, animation, and UX design. AUC’s broad-based liberal arts education allows you to diversify your learning with a minor or two — helping you develop skills complementary to your primary area of study and demonstrating to potential employers that you have range. The interactive media design minor is the perfect program for students who want to learn the basics of digital image making, animation and User Experience (UX) Design. Through this program, students will be able to understand software and production principles for digital and print-based media and ideate and execute basic graphical animations. They will also learn how to research, prototype, systematize and design a UX concept for a digital product or service while working in teams. This program is suitable for students who are interested in a career in digital products and services such as mobile, tablet or web applications. By the completion of this minor, the students will have a good understanding of the process of conceptualizing and designing digital products or services and the different roles and disciplines it involves.
