Program Outline

Description:

The M.S. program requires each student to complete 24 hours of coursework (12 hours of which must be at the 7000 level or above), six hours of thesis research credits, and successful defense of a thesis research project.

  • Initial Qualifying Exam:
  • Administered during the first semester by at least three school faculty members, this exam identifies areas of knowledge that can be improved through coursework.

Other:

  • The school offers graduate minors in Renewable Natural Resources and Interdepartmental Studies in Wetland Ecology and Restoration.
