Program Overview

This doctoral program requires 45 hours of coursework, including a minimum of 15 hours of dissertation credit. Students develop an academic course plan with their advisory committee, which includes the major professor and two additional graduate faculty members. A dissertation is required for the degree, and students are encouraged to publish their research in peer-reviewed journals.
