Electives must be chosen from at least two of five areas: Religious Studies, Hebrew, Literature, History, and Anthropology. Special topics courses and courses with Jewish studies sections may also be accepted with approval.

Outline:
To graduate with a minor in Jewish Studies, students in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences must complete 15 hours of electives, including a minimum of six hours at the 3000 level or above. Electives must be chosen from at least two of the following areas:
- Religious Studies– REL 1004, REL 1007, REL 2029, REL 2120, REL 3004, REL 3100, REL 3104, REL 3124, REL 4125, and depending on the topic, REL 4236
- Hebrew –HEBR 1001, HEBR 1002, HEBR 2003, HEBR 2004
- History–HIST 4026, HIST 4125
- Anthropology –ANTH 3004 In addition, special topics courses and courses with sections advertised as Jewish studies may be accepted for the minor upon approval of the director.
