Program Overview


The Instructional Design and Technology track in the Education PhD program at the University of Central Florida prepares students for careers as university professors, corporate directors, or corporate researchers specializing in the design and implementation of instructional and learning technologies in both traditional classroom and online environments. The track includes 24 credit hours of core courses, 9 credit hours of specialization courses, 9 credit hours of electives, 3 credit hours of internship, and 15 credit hours of dissertation research, and requires a minimum of 60 credit hours beyond the master's degree.
