Degree Overview:

The Sound Design degree program prepares students to be sound designers and sound engineers in the theatre and entertainment industries. Students will learn to edit, record, and compose sound and music with industry-standard hardware and software. They will collaborate with directors, designers, and production staff to gain experience translating sound design concepts into reality. The program features distinguished and award-winning faculty, many of whom are professional designers, artists, and technicians. Students also have the opportunity to work as sound designers and technicians on public productions presented by the Theatre School each season.
