Overview

The graduate certificate in Hispanic Cultural Studies from Wichita State will equip you with the skills and knowledge to investigate, research, and analyze Hispanic culture through literature, language, and social structures.

Curriculum

To complete the 12-credit-hour certificate, you’ll select four courses from the following:

• Hispanic Film: Cinema in the Spanish Speaking World
• Seminar in Latin-American Literature or Culture
• Spanish Civilization
• Latin-American Civilization
• Hispanic Cooking Communities
• Latin@ Studies
• Directed Readings Spanish

Admission to the Program

There are two paths to admission to the program:

• For those already enrolled in graduate school, simply complete the Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Certificate Form.
• Prospective students should apply using the Graduate School application for admission.
