Workshop: Stage Directing and Leadership

Program Overview

This immersive two-day workshop, led by Beverly Poole, introduces the art of stage directing using Shakespeare's Henry V. Participants will learn project management, leadership skills, and practical directing techniques through hands-on acting and directing exercises. No prior experience is necessary, and the workshop fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• Individual Modules:
• Module 1:
Learn how a stage director approaches project management, art, and leadership.
• Module 2: Gain essential skills such as creating a nurturing environment for creative ideas, leading with confidence and compassion, and embracing the power of "yes-and" to build on group contributions.
• Module 3: Explore acting and directing firsthand in a supportive and inclusive setting.
