Program Overview
The Producing Music course teaches teens the fundamentals of music production using MIDI instruments, audio editing, and beat building. The Producing Music course is designed to teach teens the basics of music production, regardless of their musical style or instrument. The course covers software navigation, key commands, screen sets, and workflow. Using MIDI instruments, teens will learn to edit, record audio, build beats, and mix music. The course encourages creativity and culminates in the production of a final product.
