Lino Printing Workshop with Juniper Press

Program Overview

This two-day Linocut printing workshop introduces participants to the art of relief printing using linoleum blocks. Led by Juniper Press, the workshop covers basic cutting techniques, design transfer, and printing. Participants will create their own prints and gain hands-on experience in the physicality of drawing and the lino cut process.

• Structure: The workshop is two days long, with a schedule of 10:00-16:00 each day, including a 60-minute lunch break.
• Course Schedule:
• Day 1:
• Introduction to Linocut printing.
• Demonstration of materials and tools.
• Learning basic Lino cutting techniques.
• Creating a block for experimenting with mark-making.
• Day 2:
• Sketching and transferring designs onto Lino.
• Creating final compositions to carve.
• Printing A4 prints in chosen designs.
• Individual Modules: This workshop does not have separate modules.
It is a continuous two-day learning experience.
