Graduate Apprenticeship in Cyber Security Course with MSc Degree

Program Overview

This online cybersecurity program provides a comprehensive foundation in information risk management, security program development, and network security. Students engage in hands-on learning through vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and a substantial security project. The program is supported by online tutor support, workplace mentors, and on-campus workshops.

Year 1

• Information risk management
• Development of a successful security program
• Appraisal of security controls to meet business requirements
• Building and maintaining of secure networks
• Development and execution of vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
• Security operations and digital forensics

Year 2 (6 months)

• Students will undertake a substantial security project, drawing together all the main skills developed throughout the course.

• 4 reports

Year 2

• 1 dissertation
• 1 oral assessment
