Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


United Kingdom (Home) Students:

  • Post-registration doctors: Completion of Foundation Programme Year 1 or equivalent.
  • Qualified practitioners in allied health professions: Minimum of two years' clinical practice with a first degree; or minimum of five years' post-qualification practice in cardiology.
  • Applicants without a first degree: Initially register for either a Postgraduate Certificate or a Postgraduate Diploma award.

International Students (Outside the EU):

  • Academic qualifications: Equivalent to a UK first-class or upper second-class honours degree.
  • Clinical experience: Two years' clinical experience in cardiology or a related field.
  • IELTS score: Minimum of 7.0 with no sub-score lower than 6.5.

Additional Notes:

  • Due to visa restrictions, international students requiring a student visa are only eligible for full-time Masters courses.
  • EU students with settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme are eligible for Home student fees and funding.
