The Construction Management graduate certificate program at Conestoga College is a full-time, two-year program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage construction projects. Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements:
Domestic Students (Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Refugee Claimants or Convention Refugees):
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six 4U/M courses, including:
- English (ENG4U or equivalent)
- Mathematics (MDM4U or MCB4U or MHF4U or MCV4U or MGA4U or MGT4U or other approved 4U/M math; minimum 70% average)
- One additional 4U/M course in any subject except English or French as a Second Language (minimum 70% average)
- Three additional 4U/M or 3U/M courses in any subject (minimum 60% average)
- Mature students (19 years of age or older) with equivalent life experience may be considered.
- Transfer students with relevant college or university courses may be considered.
International Students (Outside Canada):
- Completion of secondary school education equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Minimum overall average of 70% in the last two years of academic study
- English language proficiency equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic score of 6.5, with no band score below 6.0, or equivalent
- Some programs may have higher English language proficiency requirements
- Completion of the Construction Management Preparation course (CMPC) is highly recommended.
- Applicants are encouraged to submit a portfolio showcasing their relevant skills and experience.
- Meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.
- International students are required to demonstrate financial resources to cover tuition and living expenses in Canada.
