The Motive Power Techniques - Truck and Coach Repair program at Conestoga College provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to be job-ready in the high-demand truck and coach repair industry. The program offers over 17,000 square feet of shop space and focuses on hands-on learning. Through the program, students explore various topics such as safety, tool usage, preventive maintenance, engines, transmissions, drive trains, and electrical/electronic components.


Program Objectives:

  • Upon completion, graduates will have the opportunity to receive exemption from Level 1 of the Truck and Coach Technician apprenticeship in-school training.
  • Graduates may also be eligible for advanced standing into year two of the Truck and Coach Diploma program.
