For Canadian (including EU home) students:

  • Ontario College Diploma (or equivalent credentials), and;
  • Completion of at least one of the following courses:
  • Communication Skills (or equivalent), or
  • Technical Writing (or equivalent), or
  • Business Communication (or equivalent)

For International (outside EU) students:

  • Ontario College Diploma, or a three-year university degree (or equivalent credentials), and;
  • completion of at least one of the following courses:
  • >* Communication Skills (or equivalent), or >* Technical Writing (or equivalent), or >* Business Communication (or equivalent), and
  • Acceptable proof of proficiency is one of the following:
  • A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) academic test, with no individual band score less than 6.0, OR
  • Completion of the English for Academic Studies course (EAP 15) at Conestoga, OR
  • A score of at least 85 on the internet-based TOEFL test (TOEFL iBT) with a minimum writing subscore of 21, OR
