Program Overview

The Sustainable Business Management program at Conestoga College equips students with the skills to lead sustainability transformations in organizations. Through a triple bottom-line approach, students address complex sustainability challenges and develop project management and leadership skills. The program offers experiential learning opportunities, including volunteering, field trips, and networking events, and prepares graduates for careers in sustainability coordination, consulting, and management.

Degree Overview:

• Focus: Equips students with diverse skillset to lead in sustainability transformations in organizations and institutions.
• Curriculum: Addresses complex sustainability challenges through triple bottom-line approach, ESG principles, sustainable operations, change management, and sustainability engagement.
• Experiential Learning: Opportunities beyond the classroom, including volunteering at local sustainability-oriented organizations, field trips, workshops, and networking events.
• Certification: Graduates eligible to write the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) exam and become a Certified Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA).
