Entry Requirements:
Secondary School Completion:
- Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
- Applicants should have completed three courses at the 4U/M level including those listed below:
- 4U Mathematics (or equivalent)
- 4U English (or equivalent)
- 4U Physics (or equivalent)
- Additional considerations:
- Grade 12 Technological Design (TDJ4M) and Graphics (TGJ4M) are recommended.
- Completion of the Ontario College Math Preparation Course (OCMPC) is highly recommended for applicants who need to improve their math skills.
Bridging Opportunities:
- Applicants with relevant trades experience and an OSSD or equivalent may be eligible for bridging opportunities. These pathways allow individuals to complete foundational courses and gain the necessary skills to join the program.
Mature Students:
- Applicants who are at least 19 years of age on the start date of the program and do not have an OSSD can be considered for mature student status. They may be required to demonstrate readiness for the program through an interview, writing sample, or other assessments.
International Students:
- International students must follow the same admission requirements as Canadian students.
- Additionally, they must have proof of English language proficiency. Acceptable tests include:
- IELTS - minimum score of 6.0 overall with no band below 6.0
- TOEFL - minimum score of 83 with no section below 20
- CanTEST - minimum score of 4.5 with no area below 4.0
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- As English is the language of instruction for this program, all applicants are required to demonstrate proficiency in English.
- Acceptable proof of English language proficiency includes:
- Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
