Entry Requirements:
Domestic Students:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with six 4U/M courses including:
- English (ENG4U or equivalent)
- Mathematics (MDM4U or MCR3U or MCV4U or MCF3M or MTH4U or MHF4U or MGA4U)
- Science (SCH4U or SBI4U or SPH4U or SES4U or SNC4U or SNG4U or PSY4U or PSS4U or ICS4U or MCF3M)
- Three additional 4U/M courses in any subject
- Mature Student Status: Applicants who are 19 years of age or older and who do not have an OSSD may be considered for admission based on their academic background and work experience.
- International Students: Applicants who have completed secondary school outside of Canada must have their credentials assessed by a recognized credential assessment agency.
International Students:
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: A minimum score of 24 points with a minimum of 15 points in Higher Level (HL) subjects, including English and Mathematics.
- GCE A-Levels: Three A-Levels with a minimum grade of C, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Other International Qualifications: Applicants with other international qualifications should consult the Conestoga College website for specific requirements.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- English as a Second Language (ESL): Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving a minimum score on one of the following tests:
- TOEFL iBT: 88 overall with a minimum score of 20 in Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.
- IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6.0 in Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.
- PTE Academic: 65 overall with a minimum score of 59 in Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.
- CAE (Certificate in Advanced English): Grade C or higher.
- CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English): Grade C or higher.
- Duolingo English Test: 115 overall with a minimum score of 100 in each of the four skills.
- English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT): Applicants who have completed a recognized English language program in Canada may be exempt from taking an English language proficiency test.
- Applicants with relevant work experience may be considered for admission even if they do not meet the specific academic requirements.
