Entry Requirements:


Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Equivalent

  • 6 Grade 12 U or M courses, including:
  • English (ENG4U or ENG4C)
  • Mathematics (MDM4U, MCB4U, MCF4U, MHF4U, MCV4U or MGA4U preferred)
  • Physics (SPH4U or SPH4C preferred)
  • Chemistry (SCH4U or SCH4C)
  • One additional U or M course

Mature Applicants

  • Applicants who are 19 years of age or older and do not have the required academic background may be eligible for admission through the Mature Applicant Route.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the ability to succeed in the program by meeting the following requirements:
  • Completion of a high school equivalency test, such as the General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Successful completion of an approved preparatory program.
  • Successful completion of specific prerequisite courses.
  • A strong portfolio of work and/or volunteer experience.

International Students

  • Completion of secondary school education equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
  • Achievement of a high school average of 70% or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English through one of the following tests:
  • IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0

  • Some programs may have higher English language proficiency requirements.
