Entry Requirements:


Domestic Students (Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents):

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six 4U or 4M credits, including:
  • English (Grade 12C or U)
  • Mathematics (Grade 12C or U)
  • One of: Physics (Grade 12C or U), Chemistry (Grade 12C or U), or Technological Design (Grade 12C or U)
  • Three additional 4U or 4M credits (any subject)

International Students (outside of Canada):

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, with a minimum average of 70% or higher
  • Successful completion of the Conestoga College English for Academic Purposes program (or equivalent)
  • Minimum score on the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS: 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5
  • TOEFL: 80 iBT
  • CAEL: 60 overall with no score less than 50
  • PTE Academic: 60 overall with no score less than 50

Mature Applicants (21 years or older by the start of the program):

  • May be considered for admission even if they do not meet the standard academic requirements.
  • Applicants must demonstrate their ability to succeed in the program through:
  • A successful interview with the program coordinator
  • A review of their academic and/or professional experience
  • Completion of the Conestoga College English for Academic Purposes program (or equivalent)
