Program Overview


This two-day short course at Cranfield University equips participants with the knowledge and skills to build a compelling business case for sustainability initiatives. Led by Professor Philip Longhurst, the program covers topics such as valuation, reporting, influencing skills, and marketing, enabling participants to effectively communicate the value of sustainability to stakeholders.   • Valuation and reporting (Talking to financial analysts and investors (eg chain analysis, cost benefit analysis)
  • Investor relationship
  • Make a case for investors' buying (using dragons den workshop format)
  • How to present to the board

  • Embedding natural capital (what is different from standard business case, what externalities to consider)
