This course will allow delegates to demonstrate a clear understanding of the process of airport capacity planning within the context of changing airline industry structure, national airport policy goals, and planning constraints, identify and understand the various types and purposes of airport planning activities, identify the key components involved, appraising arguments for and against airport expansion and comparing and analyzing different location options for airports, among many other topics.
