EU Home Students:
- A strong 2.2 Honours degree (with a minimum of 55%) or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in any discipline.
- A writing sample of 1800-2200 words of prose fiction or 10-15 pages of script. The sample can be an extract.
- In certain circumstances, applicants may be admitted based on the strength of their writing alone.
International Overseas Students (outside the EU):
- A strong 2.2 Honours degree (with a minimum of 55%) or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in any discipline.
- A writing sample of 1800-2200 words of prose fiction or 10-15 pages of script. The sample can be an extract.
- Evidence of IELTS score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University.
Additional Notes:
- Applicants are advised to apply as early as possible, ideally no later than 16th August 2024 for courses commencing in late September.
- The University reserves the right to close the application portal early if a program receives a high number of applications.
- For international students whose first language is not English, additional English language requirements may apply.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- For international students whose first language is not English, evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required.
- Taken within the last 2 years.
